Hazards and Protection.
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container closed when not in use. Corrosives area.
Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.
Absorb spill with inert material, (e.g., dry sand or earth), then place into a chemical waste container. Clean up spills immediately, while using/wearing the proper protective equipment.
Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
Oxidizing agents, reducing agents, bases.
Carbon monoxide, irritating and toxic fumes and gases, carbon dioxide, hydrogen bromide.
Wear approved SCBA in full pressure-demand and full protective gear. Extinguish fire using water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or alcohol-resistant foam.
Causes gastrointestinal tract burns. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated.
Inhalation may be fatal as a result of spasm, inflammation, edema of the larynx and bronchi, chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema.
Causes skin burns.
Causes eye burns.
Do NOT induce vomiting and seek IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ADVICE.
Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately.
Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids.
