Hazards and Protection.
Keep containers of 2,4,5-t and derivatives tightly closed at ambient temperature in a well-ventilated area away from food and feed products, heat, and water. Do not store near other agrochemicals or seeds.
All chemicals should be considered hazardous. Avoid direct physical contact. Use appropriate, approved safety equipment. Untrained individuals should not handle this chemical or its container. Handling should occur in a chemical fume hood.

Evacuate area and ventilate. Wear protective equipment. If required, use an inert absrobent. Sweep up and place in an appropriate container for disposal. Wash contaminated surfaces.
DOT recommendations for 2,4,5-t amine, ester, or salt- use dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water fog, or spray. Dry chemical and carbon dioxide are preferable due to noxious vapors. Contain runoff to avoid possible water pollution.
Combustible when dissolved in kerosene or diesel oil.
The toxicological properties of this material have not been investigated.
