Description
Dark purplish-brown mass or bright red or dark red powder. Yellow to violet in acidic aqueous solutions.
Uses
Free acid in color photography, pigment for artists' paints, as bacteriological stain, reagent for aluminum.

Exposure effects
   Ingestion
