Hazards and Protection.
Keep in a tightly sealed container, in a cool, dry location.
Use approved safety glasses or goggles. Impervious gloves and protective clothing to prevent skin contact.
Use of a dust mask is recommended.
Sweep or vacuum according to normal housekeeping practices.
Stable at normal temperatures at pressures.
Strong oxidizing and reducing agents, hydrazine.
Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce dense smoke containing corrosive and/or toxic gases, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrofluoric acid and fluorinated decomposition products.
Extinguish using water. Contain run-off from fire. Run-off may be corrosive and/or toxic. Fire fighters and others who may be exposed to combustion products should wear fire-fighting gear and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Equipment and gear should be decontaminated after use.
Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce dense smoke containing corrosive and/or toxic gases. Fluorine will be generated and, in the presence of water, hydrofluoric acid will also be present.
Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Fluorine
