Storage
Store in a tightly closed container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.
Handling

Exposure effects
Chronic exposure may cause liver damage. Chronic exposure may cause thyroid damage: thyroid enlargement, decrease in metabolic rate, and hypothyroidism. Reproductive effects have been reported in humans.
   Ingestion
Harmful if swallowed. May cause irritation of the digestive tract. May cause liver damage. May cause thyroid abnormalities. Human fatalities have been reported from acute poisoning.
   Inhalation
May cause respiratory tract irritation. May cause thryoid effects. May cause liver damage.
   Skin
May cause skin irritation.
   Eyes
May cause eye irritation.

First aid
 
   Ingestion
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid. Do NOT induce vomiting. If conscious and alert, rinse mouth and drink 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water.
   Inhalation
Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid. DO NOT use mouth-to-mouth respiration. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration using oxygen and a suitable mechanical device such as a bag and a mask.
   Skin
Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
   Eyes
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
