Storage
Store sylinders, secured in upright position. Store in well ventilated area, away from ignition sources, direct sunlight, oxygen or other oxidizers.

Handling
Store and handle in accordance with all current regulations and standards. Subject to storage regulations: U.S. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.101. Keep separated from incompatible substances.
Protection
Self-contained breathing apparatus for high concentrations. Protective clothing covering all parts of the body, with gloves, boots, goggles orface shield.
Respirators
Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Small spills/leaks
Keep sparks, flames, and other sources of ignition away. Keep material out of water sources and sewers. Attempt to stop leak if without undue personnel hazard. Use water spray to knock-down vapors.
Stability
Polymerizes easily.
Incompatibilities
React vigorously with strong oxidizing materials, reaction with silver nitrate forms acetylide igniting at 150 C.

Fire fighting
Do not extinguish fire unless flow can be stopped. Use water in flooding quantities as fog. Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Apply water from as far a distance as possible.

EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Will be easily ignited by heat, sparks or flames. Will form explosive mixtures with air. May ignite spontaneously in air.
