Colorless or yellowish liquid. Its color will darken and be changed to dark or dark red when exposed to light. Odor of camphor.
Used to prepare dehydro- -anphthol,18-methyl norethisterone ( a contraceptive ), it can also be used as solvent, softener of plastic.

Hazards and Protection.
Keep in a cool, dry, dark location in a tightly sealed container or cylinder. Keep away from incompatible materials, ignition sources and untrained individuals. Secure and label area. Protect containers/cylinders from physical damage.
